Yaşamı ve kariyeri

Jacobs, 19 Ekim 1982'de Pittsburgh, Pensilvanya'da doğdu. Juilliard Okulu'nu bitirdikten sonra gittiği Carnegie Mellon Üniversitesi'nden mezun oldu. 2005'te oyunculuğa başladı. TV yapımları; Britta Perry rolünde olduğu NBC/Yahoo! Screen prodüksiyonu komedi dizisi; Community, Mickey Dobbs rolünde olduğu Netflix kanalı dizisi; Love, ve The Powerpuff Girls ile tanındı.

Oyunculuğa HBO kanalı yapımı televizyon dizisi; Girls ile adım attı.
